Globally influential oncologist and clinical trial leader whose work transformed the treatment of gastric cancer and NSCLC. Led the landmark TOGA trial establishing trastuzumab in HER2-positive gastric cancer and the KEYNOTE-590 trial in esophageal cancer, and has been among the most prolific oncology clinical trialists in Asia.
