👥Biography 个人简介

Neal Young has led the field of bone marrow failure research for decades at the NIH, establishing immunosuppressive therapy protocols for aplastic anemia and elucidating the immune-mediated mechanisms underlying acquired bone marrow failure. His longitudinal studies of bone marrow failure patients have revealed the risk of clonal evolution to myelodysplastic syndrome and acute leukemia, informing surveillance strategies. He has defined the molecular landscape of inherited and acquired bone marrow failure syndromes and their relationship to cancer predisposition.
