Professor Uchitomi is Japan's leading psycho-oncologist and a globally recognized expert in cancer-related delirium and psychiatric comorbidities in oncology. At the National Cancer Center Japan, he has led landmark intervention trials and established psycho-oncology as a clinical specialty within the Japanese healthcare system.
