Yok-Lam Kwong

Yok-Lam Kwong is a preeminent Hong Kong hematologist with long-standing expertise in NK/T-cell lymphoma who has contributed foundational work on EBV biology, asparaginase regimens, and more recently the rationale and clinical evidence for PD-1/PD-L1 checkpoint inhibition in EBV-driven NK/T-cell lymphoma. He established that EBV-driven LMP1 upregulates PD-L1, providing mechanistic rationale for checkpoint blockade in this disease.
