Yi Bhatt

Dr. Yi Bhatt is a cancer biologist at Dana-Farber who studies sex hormone receptor signaling in non-reproductive cancers including lung cancer and colorectal cancer. She has characterized how estrogen receptor activation modulates immune responses in non-gynecologic tumors and how sex-specific mutational signatures differ in lung adenocarcinoma between females and males. Her research provides mechanistic grounding for the observed sex differences in cancer incidence and prognosis.
