Cassian Yee

Cassian Yee has developed innovative approaches to isolating and expanding naturally occurring tumor-reactive T cells from patient blood for adoptive cell therapy at MD Anderson Cancer Center, avoiding the need for genetic engineering by selecting and amplifying endogenous T cells with anti-tumor specificity. His endogenous T cell therapy platform offers a complementary approach to TCR-engineered products by preserving the natural TCR repertoire and polyclonality of tumor-reactive responses. He is advancing combinatorial strategies that pair adoptive T cell therapy with immune checkpoint inhibitors to enhance T cell persistence.
