Yael Mosse

Yael Mosse discovered activating ALK mutations in familial neuroblastoma, providing the molecular basis for ALK inhibitor therapy in this pediatric cancer. Her work established ALK as a clinically actionable target in neuroblastoma and supported clinical trials of crizotinib in ALK-mutated pediatric tumors. She has contributed extensively to understanding the genetics and molecular biology of neuroblastoma through large-scale genomic studies. Her translational work at CHOP bridges fundamental neuroblastoma biology with novel therapeutic development.
