Joy Wolfram
PhD
Assistant Professor of Nanomedicine
👥Biography 个人简介
Joy Wolfram develops engineered extracellular vesicle systems for targeted cancer drug delivery, designing hybrid nanoparticle-EV constructs that combine the biocompatibility and natural tumor-homing properties of EVs with the drug-loading capacity and targeting precision of synthetic nanoparticles. Her research at the University of Queensland has optimized EV surface engineering strategies to enhance tumor accumulation and has characterized the pharmacokinetic properties of therapeutic EVs in preclinical cancer models. Her work is bridging the gap between natural EV biology and pharmaceutical drug delivery to create next-generation cancer nanomedicines.
