Wolfgang Wick has led landmark trials in GBM including the NOA-08 trial establishing temozolomide monotherapy for elderly MGMT-methylated GBM. His research has defined the predictive and prognostic roles of MGMT promoter methylation and explored alkylating agent strategies in subgroups of GBM patients. He is a leader in EORTC Brain Tumor Group trials and has shaped European standards for GBM treatment.
