Andrea Wolf contributed to expanding TTFields indications beyond glioblastoma, leading clinical investigations of TTFields for malignant pleural mesothelioma that resulted in the STELLAR trial demonstrating improved overall survival when TTFields was added to pemetrexed and platinum chemotherapy. Her work on thoracic transducer array optimization addressed unique challenges of delivering therapeutic electric field intensities to pleural tumors. She continues to investigate TTFields applications in non-small cell lung cancer and other thoracic malignancies.
