Wolf Herve Fridman co-established the concept that the composition and spatial organization of tumor infiltrating immune cells predict clinical outcome. His work with Jerome Galon and Catherine Sautes-Fridman defined immunoscore and highlighted tertiary lymphoid structures as prognostic and predictive features. He remains a senior figure in European tumor immunology.
