Marcin Wlodarski has been instrumental in defining GATA2 deficiency as a major inherited predisposition syndrome leading to bone marrow failure, MDS, and AML, establishing diagnostic criteria and management guidelines for this recently recognized condition. His genomic studies of pediatric MDS have revealed the landscape of germline mutations underlying childhood myeloid malignancies, transforming diagnostic approaches. He leads international collaborative studies on inherited hematologic cancer predisposition syndromes.
