Kenneth Witwer has been instrumental in establishing rigorous standards for extracellular vesicle RNA analysis and in characterizing the RNA cargo of EVs as potential cancer biomarkers and therapeutic payloads, addressing critical quality control challenges that have limited clinical translation.
