Robert Winn

Robert Winn leads the Massey Cancer Center at Virginia Commonwealth University and is a vocal advocate for ensuring equitable access to cell therapy innovations across diverse populations. His work focuses on addressing the racial and socioeconomic disparities in clinical trial enrollment and cell therapy access that have characterized the first generation of CAR-T products. He is developing community-engaged research models to bring allogeneic off-the-shelf cell therapies to underserved communities that have been historically excluded from cell therapy clinical trials.
