Wells Messersmith at Colorado has contributed to phase I and early clinical development in GI oncology, including early trials of cetuximab in colorectal cancer and development of novel agents for CRC and other GI malignancies. His work on phase I GI oncology clinical pharmacology and his contributions to CRC drug development represent extensive participation in defining treatments now standard in GI cancer.
