👥Biography 个人简介

Weiping Zou at the University of Michigan has made seminal contributions to understanding regulatory T-cell (Treg) biology in cancer immune cold tumors, demonstrating how intratumoral Tregs suppress effector T-cell activity and establishing their prognostic significance. His research on CCL22/CCR4-mediated Treg trafficking into tumors identified a mechanism by which cold tumors maintain immune suppression. He has evaluated CCR4 antibody-based Treg depletion strategies and other approaches to reverse Treg-mediated immunosuppression. His comprehensive tumor immunology research spanning ovarian, colorectal, and other cold tumor types has shaped combination immunotherapy strategies.
