Weidong Han is a pioneer of CAR-T cell therapy in China, leading one of the first Chinese CAR-T programs for hematologic malignancies at the PLA General Hospital. His team developed and clinically tested CD19 and BCMA CAR-T constructs, establishing China as a major center of CAR-T innovation.
