👥Biography 个人简介

Waseem Qasim leads research in allogeneic CAR-T cell therapy and was involved in early clinical applications of CRISPR-edited universal donor T cells for pediatric leukemia. His work demonstrated that CRISPR editing could remove T cell receptor and CD52 genes to create off-the-shelf CAR-T products capable of treating patients without matched donors. His group continues to develop advanced CRISPR-engineered cell therapies with improved safety and efficacy profiles. His clinical trials represent landmark applications of CRISPR technology in patients.
