Siyuan Wang

Siyuan Wang has developed spatial genomics imaging technologies that map chromatin organization and gene expression simultaneously in cancer cells, revealing how three-dimensional genome architecture regulates tumor gene expression programs. Her MERFISH-based cancer applications have enabled spatial profiling of hundreds of RNA species in tissue sections at single-cell resolution. Her work on nuclear architecture in cancer has connected spatial proteomics of the tumor microenvironment with intracellular spatial organization of the cancer genome.
