Scott Waldman has defined the role of guanylyl cyclase C (GUCY2C) in intestinal mucosal homeostasis and colorectal cancer. He chairs pharmacology at Thomas Jefferson and Sidney Kimmel Cancer Center and has led development of GUCY2C-directed vaccines and biomarkers for CRC surveillance.
