👥Biography 个人简介

Vincenzo Bronte at the University of Verona is a pioneer in myeloid-derived suppressor cell (MDSC) biology, having made foundational contributions to understanding how MDSCs accumulate in the tumor microenvironment and suppress T-cell activity in immune cold tumors. His research has defined the mechanisms by which MDSCs deplete arginine, produce reactive oxygen species, and suppress effector T-cell function. He has contributed to therapeutic strategies targeting MDSC differentiation, trafficking, and function to reverse immunosuppression. His work on arginase inhibitors and MDSC-reprogramming approaches has influenced combination immunotherapy development.
