Jaak Vilo

Jaak Vilo has contributed to the development of computational platforms and databases for drug combination analysis, creating open-source tools and data resources that enable the cancer research community to systematically analyze, compare, and share drug combination screening results across laboratories and institutions. His bioinformatics group at the University of Tartu has developed methods for integrating drug combination response data with gene expression and molecular profiling to identify biomarkers that predict synergistic interactions. His work on open data infrastructure has been essential for enabling collaborative drug combination research.
