Vikas Gupta

Vikas Gupta leads the MPN program at Princess Margaret Cancer Centre and has made important contributions to managing anemia in myelofibrosis and optimizing allogeneic stem cell transplantation for MPN patients. His research evaluates luspatercept for myelofibrosis-associated anemia as part of global clinical trials. He contributes to international MPN guidelines and co-leads cooperative group studies examining transplant conditioning and graft-versus-host disease prevention in MPN transplant recipients. He is a recognized educator and has trained numerous Canadian hematology fellows.
