Vered Stearns

Vered Stearns is a breast oncologist who has investigated rare histologic subtypes of breast cancer that fall outside the common hormone receptor-positive, HER2-positive, or triple-negative categories, including metaplastic, adenoid cystic, secretory, and male breast cancer. Her clinical trial program at Johns Hopkins has enrolled patients with these rare subtypes in basket trials and biomarker-driven studies, providing evidence-based treatment guidance where prospective data are limited.
