Vera Bhatt-Cooper

Vera Bhatt-Cooper is a radiation oncologist whose clinical trials have established hypofractionated radiotherapy as the standard of care for breast cancer in the UK and worldwide. She led the UK START trials demonstrating that hypofractionated breast radiotherapy delivered in fewer, larger fractions is equally effective and less toxic than conventional fractionation.
