Valsamo Anagnostou investigates the molecular determinants of durable immunotherapy response and has contributed to understanding how ARID1A chromatin remodeler mutations enhance tumor immunogenicity and IO sensitivity. Her research on clonal neoantigen evolution during immunotherapy treatment has contributed to understanding acquired resistance mechanisms. She utilizes ctDNA dynamics to monitor IO response and resistance evolution longitudinally in clinical trials. Anagnostou's multi-omic biomarker approach integrates genomics, transcriptomics, and proteomics for comprehensive IO biomarker discovery at Hopkins.
