Eric Tran
PhD
Assistant Professor of Molecular Microbiology and Immunology
👥Biography 个人简介
Eric Tran made a landmark discovery at the National Cancer Institute by identifying the first neoantigen-reactive T cell clone from a patient with metastatic cholangiocarcinoma who achieved a dramatic response to adoptive T cell therapy, establishing proof of concept for personalized neoantigen-targeted cell therapy in epithelial cancers. His current laboratory at Oregon Health and Science University develops high-throughput platforms for identifying neoantigen-reactive TCRs from patient tumors for personalized TCR-T cell therapy. His work bridges neoantigen prediction and TCR-T cell therapy by validating which predicted neoantigens actually elicit functional T cell responses.
