Todd Bhatt

Todd Bhatt studies necroptosis and immunogenic cell death as mechanisms that can be therapeutically harnessed to stimulate anti-tumor immunity. His research demonstrated that activating necroptosis in cancer cells releases damage-associated molecular patterns that recruit and activate immune effectors. He has investigated how necroptosis inducers synergize with checkpoint inhibitors in preclinical cancer models. His work bridges cancer cell death biology with tumor immunology to develop novel combination strategies.
