👥Biography 个人简介

Sir Tim Hunt is a Nobel Prize-winning biochemist who discovered cyclins, the proteins that periodically drive the cell cycle engine by activating CDKs. He shared the 2001 Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine with Leland Hartwell and Paul Nurse. The cyclin-CDK complexes he identified are now established cancer drug targets, with CDK4/6 inhibitors like palbociclib, ribociclib, and abemaciclib representing major clinical advances based directly on his foundational discoveries.
