Thomas Prebet

Thomas Prebet is a hematologist-oncologist with expertise in splicing factor mutations in MDS, particularly SF3B1 mutations that define a MDS subtype characterized by ring sideroblasts and relatively favorable prognosis. His research has elucidated how SF3B1 mutations alter pre-mRNA splicing to impair erythroid differentiation.
