Dr. Thomas Fuchs is dean of AI and human health at Mount Sinai and co-founder of Paige.AI, the company that received the first FDA de novo clearance for an AI-based digital pathology system for prostate cancer detection. He has led the development and clinical validation of deep learning systems that assist pathologists in cancer diagnosis at scale. His translational work bridges laboratory AI innovation with regulatory-pathway clinical deployment.
