Thierry Berghmans

Thierry Berghmans at Institut Jules Bordet has been a key contributor to European mesothelioma clinical research through the EORTC and ETOP networks, participating in multiple phase II and III trials. His work has included evaluation of novel cytotoxic agents, antiangiogenic therapy, and more recently immunotherapy in pleural mesothelioma. He has contributed to understanding prognostic factors and outcomes across different histological subtypes of mesothelioma. His experience in European collaborative mesothelioma trials has helped build the evidence base for treatment guidelines.
