Sylvia Adams

Sylvia Adams at NYU Langone Health is recognized for her foundational work combining immunotherapy with chemotherapy in triple-negative breast cancer. She has led early-phase and registrational studies evaluating checkpoint inhibitors in TNBC and explored the role of tumor-infiltrating lymphocytes (TILs) as predictive biomarkers. Her laboratory investigates innate and adaptive immune mechanisms in breast cancer immunotherapy. She has been a principal investigator on landmark TNBC immunotherapy combination trials.
