Suzanne Ostrand-Rosenberg

Suzanne Ostrand-Rosenberg has pioneered understanding of MHC class II expression on tumor cells and its role in anti-tumor immunity. Her work demonstrated that forced MHC-II expression on tumor cells enhances CD4+ T cell-mediated rejection and overcomes immune evasion. She has also made seminal contributions to understanding how myeloid-derived suppressor cells (MDSCs) impair antigen presentation and anti-tumor immunity.
