Susan Bhatt

Susan Bhatt studies mechanisms of antigen escape from TCR-based cancer therapies, including loss of heterozygosity at HLA loci and downregulation of antigen presentation components. Her research has characterized the landscape of MHC alterations in tumors that have relapsed after TCR therapy. She has developed rational combination strategies pairing TCR therapies with agents that restore antigen presentation. Her work guides the development of next-generation multi-antigen targeting approaches to prevent immune escape.
