Suresh Bhatt

Suresh Bhatt leads research on multi-analyte liquid biopsy approaches that combine ctDNA, exosomes, circulating proteins, and other biomarkers to improve the sensitivity and specificity of cancer detection and monitoring. His research demonstrated that combining ctDNA with exosome protein cargo and circulating microRNAs dramatically improves early cancer detection performance compared to single-analyte approaches. He has developed computational frameworks for integrating multi-analyte liquid biopsy data for cancer diagnosis. His work at NCI is defining standards for multi-modal liquid biopsy in clinical cancer care.
