Dr. Supriya Mohile is a geriatric oncologist at University of Rochester who leads the URCC National Cancer Operations Research Program in geriatric oncology. She conducted the landmark GAIN randomized trial demonstrating that geriatric assessment-guided care reduces severe chemotherapy toxicity in older cancer patients. Her work on distinguishing frailty from fitness using validated tools has made comprehensive geriatric assessment actionable in the oncology clinic.
