Arthur Sun Myint leads contact X-ray brachytherapy (Papillon) for rectal cancer at Clatterbridge and was principal investigator of the OPERA trial showing that adding Papillon boost to chemoradiation improves complete response and organ preservation rates. His work expanded non-operative management options beyond standard chemoradiation.
