👥Biography 个人简介

Steven Treon is the world's preeminent authority on Waldenstrom's macroglobulinemia (WM), having discovered the MYD88 L265P somatic mutation as a near-universal driver in WM. He pioneered ibrutinib therapy in WM and identified CXCR4 mutations as a key modifier of ibrutinib response. His discoveries fundamentally transformed WM diagnosis and treatment and catalyzed an era of targeted therapy for this rare lymphoplasmacytic lymphoma.
