Stephen Ansell at Mayo Clinic is a leading Hodgkin lymphoma expert who has made pivotal contributions to immunotherapy in this disease. He led early studies establishing PD-1 blockade (nivolumab) in relapsed/refractory Hodgkin lymphoma and has contributed to understanding of the unique immune biology of Hodgkin lymphoma that makes it exquisitely sensitive to checkpoint inhibition. His research spans Hodgkin and non-Hodgkin lymphomas.
