Stefanie Jeffrey

Stefanie Jeffrey pioneered microfluidic and size-based technologies for efficient and gentle isolation of circulating tumor cells from blood. Her engineering and clinical research developed platforms that capture CTCs with high purity while preserving cell viability for functional and molecular analysis. She has applied these technologies to characterize CTC genomic and transcriptomic profiles in breast and other cancers. Her work has advanced single-cell analysis of CTCs to understand metastatic biology and identify therapeutic vulnerabilities in circulating cancer cells.
