Louis Staudt defined the genomic classification of diffuse large B cell lymphoma and identified activated B cell like DLBCL as NF-kB dependent. His work established chronic active BCR signaling as a therapeutic target and supported development of BTK inhibitors in lymphoma. He continues to lead lymphoma precision oncology at the NCI.
