👥Biography 个人简介

Sridhar Ramaswamy has pioneered the genomic characterization of metastasis through single-cell analysis of circulating tumor cells and systematic transcriptomic profiling of metastatic versus primary tumors, identifying a pan-cancer metastasis gene signature enriched for cell cycle, DNA repair, and chromatin remodeling programs. His work with CTC-Chip microfluidic technology enabled the first single-cell genomic analyses of CTCs directly from patient blood. He demonstrated that metastatic tumors from diverse cancer types share common transcriptional programs distinct from their primary tumors. His integrative genomic approach has identified shared vulnerabilities across metastatic cancers that may enable broad-spectrum anti-metastatic therapeutics.
