Jonathan Spicer is a thoracic surgeon and translational scientist who co-led surgical analyses of CheckMate-816 demonstrating feasibility of resection after neoadjuvant nivolumab plus chemotherapy. He has shown that neoadjuvant IO does not delay surgery and may convert borderline resectable cases. He is based at McGill University Health Centre.
