Dr. Solange Peters is the past president of ESMO and a leading European thoracic oncologist. She has been a key contributor to establishing evidence-based treatment guidelines for squamous NSCLC. Her research encompasses immunotherapy in squamous lung cancer and she was a principal investigator in CheckMate trials evaluating nivolumab in squamous NSCLC. She continues to shape European lung cancer treatment standards.
