Smita Bhatt

Smita Bhatt has contributed to the Childhood Cancer Survivor Study (CCSS) — a landmark cohort study following long-term health outcomes in childhood cancer survivors. Her work on late effects of childhood cancer treatment including second malignancies, cardiovascular disease, and neurocognitive impairment has informed efforts to reduce treatment intensity while maintaining cure rates, particularly important for the growing population of childhood cancer survivors.
