Wenyin Shi

Wenyin Shi has pioneered the expansion of TTFields to abdominal malignancies, leading the PANOVA trials investigating TTFields combined with gemcitabine and nab-paclitaxel for locally advanced pancreatic cancer with encouraging progression-free survival signals. His work on abdominal transducer array configurations addressed the challenge of delivering therapeutic field intensities through heterogeneous abdominal tissues to deeply seated tumors. He also investigates TTFields for hepatocellular carcinoma and gastric cancer, broadening the application landscape beyond CNS and thoracic tumors.
