Micah Sheller

Micah Sheller is the lead developer of OpenFL (Open Federated Learning), an open-source framework widely used in oncology federated learning studies. His collaboration with Penn Medicine on the FeTS brain tumor segmentation challenge demonstrated practical federated learning at scale across dozens of clinical sites. His engineering contributions have made federated learning accessible to cancer research institutions worldwide.
