👥Biography 个人简介

Shannon Westin is a leading gynecologic oncologist and clinical trialist focused on endometrial cancer, contributing to the incorporation of molecular subclassification (POLE-ultramutated, MMR-deficient, p53-mutant, no specific molecular profile) into clinical practice. She has led clinical trials evaluating immunotherapy and targeted agents in molecularly defined endometrial cancer populations, including studies through GOG Partners and NCI. Her research on PI3K/AKT/mTOR pathway inhibitors in endometrial cancer spans basic science to clinical application. She is a National Cancer Institute Cancer Therapy Evaluation Program (CTEP) investigator and influential in guideline development.
