Seth Lerner

Seth Lerner is a urological surgeon and translational researcher specializing in bladder cancer with expertise spanning non-muscle invasive to muscle-invasive disease. He has contributed to understanding the molecular biology of bladder cancer progression and to clinical development of novel intravesical therapies for BCG-unresponsive non-muscle invasive bladder cancer. He led and participated in multiple clinical trials evaluating perioperative chemotherapy and immunotherapy. He has been a driving force in bladder cancer genomics collaborations including participation in The Cancer Genome Atlas bladder cancer analysis.
